Hello and welcome!
To start off and get us better acquainted my name is Stitches. I have decided to redo my entire blog and use it to share Ideas, Links, Events and other information I feel is worth sharing with you. I also have a youtube page for sharing information, random ideas, and music of local artists and DJ's I feel worthy of subscribers :)
With that being said I do hope that everyone who comes across this blog and future posts to come will follow and comment. As I don't encourage to censer ones opinions I DO ask that you keep negativity to yourself. By negativity I mean any form of racism or discrimination that is deemed unnecessary in any situation.
For our first official topic post....
So a friend of mine showed me this complete abomination of a artical written about what a raver and raves are in which you can read here.
I personally have never laughed so hard at these descriptions of musicians and the sub-catigories for the individuals to attend these electronic music events. And yes I to attend these events myself. That being said is one of the reasons this false advertisement of the raver life made me laugh so hard.
Now you cant be to surprised, I mean what else are we to expect from a christian background site that has writers who have never experienced the things in which they falsely fill parents heads about? Granted yes there will be those groups of individuals who mess it up for the rest with drugs and lude behavior. HOWEVER this is not every raver you meet. And every rave I have ever attended in my neck of the woods has had on call officers at the event from door open-close.
And I have never been at a event that had a on call ambulance EVER which makes me laugh. Every event is located in a legit and legal venue. Though occasionally in some areas that may not be the case every time. Which is why if there isn't a flier with a venue in which is legally obtained you wont find me there.
These are the things that make me simply have to say to you all, if you want to inform someone about something know what your talking about. If you don't go and experience something how can you take it upon yourself to inform others when you yourself are in the dark? These parties have come a long way since they started off. And alot of people, like myself, struggle to help change others opinions of what they think of when they hear the word Rave so please don't feed into the rubbish and stereotypical idea that is often the first thing that comes to your average individuals mind. Thank you!
Now I'm curious as to all of you'r views and opinions on this artical and how people view this subject all together.
